In any of the sections of the forums, along the left with all the icons for each thread, it now says things like 'You have 1 post(s) in this thread, last 1 week ago'.

Is this new? And if so, how do I get rid of it, 'cause not only is it really irritating, but it's also wrong.

EDIT: Lies. All lies! I only get the text on a thread that's been closed. But it's still irritating.

You can mark all forums as being read by clicking the Mark Forums As Read (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?do=markread) link on the lower panel of the screen, beneath the forum index, next to the Staff link.

Sometimes it's a last resort, though obviously not much harm comes from it. :p

No, it's still saying it. Weird.

EDIT: It's this (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=96975) thread that's giving me the problem. For all the others in General Discussion, it seems to show the icon fine. Weird how it doesn't for that one.

Nothing like that is showing up for me...

Ok, it's a problem with Firefox, not the site. If any mods are watching/reading, please feel free to close this thread.

Darthy, I use Firefox also and sometimes threads do the same thing with me. I usually use the "mark forums as read" and if I do it a few times it fixes itself.

Fair enough. Doesn't explian why I can no longer quick-edit things, but I'll go with it.

Now explain why this site (http://www.behindthesofa.org.uk/) keeps screwing up in Firefox. And I know it's Firefox, because I have the 'IE Tab' plug-in and it works fine under IE. It also looks slightly spiffier, which is irritating.

EDIT: Oops, double post. Sorry.

EDIT2: Actually, I can use this.
Trying the 'Mark Threads as Read' option numerous times did nothing. Also, whenever I try to quick-edit posts, I get this:

[Image snipped 'cause it's not relevant anymore]

Ack. And this is only in Firefox, no other programs. I'm also getting problems on other sites with images not showing properly - any ideas?

EDIT3: Ok, it's not doing it anymore. Disabling that plug-in must have worked. Again, any passing mods - feel free to close this thread.

Glad it fixed itself hon :)
