String Colour

Just wondering what it is that decides what colour your strings are that appear on the screen in 2.10. I've poked the misc. colours for a bit but I didn't find anything helpful.

Um... If I remember correctly, the color that is "01" is the string color. I might be wrong.

The string colour is always set and you can't change it?! whaaaat :(

Yeah, you can. Go to Quest -> Graphics -> Palettes -> Main. Click Edit and you can change the color.

Oh I know I can change the palette, I've built the palettes for the tileset I'm working on from scratch. It just means rearranging where the black and the white are in that Cset, which is akward because I have them in the same place in every Cset. What I meant was, 'The string colour is always set to one place and you can't change which position it's set to' sorry for not being too clear :p

Gotcha. I'm not 100% sure that color 01 is the string color, but I'm pretty sure it is. It's the only color that fits, though.

It is, I just checked/changed that colour to white
