Issues w. ZC web page

I've been trying for a few months now, but every time I click on QUestDB on the home page, I get this msg:

IN_PORTAL_AREA, THIS_SCRIPT or VB_AREA must be defined to continue

What's that all about?

The quest database is down and has been for a while. If you read the Quest DB topic in the forum you'll get a bit more info. If you want to play quests, the best place is probably www.PureZC.com's database - although it's significantly smaller than the one on this site, you can still get some quests there. You could also try Dan Furst's quest list a few topics down from here in this forum.

Yeah we have all been hoping for awhile now that it will be fixed soon. Until then just use PureZCs quest database. It doesn't have all the quests ZC QDB has but it has a lot of great ones.

well, do we actually know what the ZC database has? its been getting worse and worse as time goes by so maybe everything is now corrupt?

No, you can access the files if you type in the correct URL. Check Dan Furst's quest list. You can get into the pool and get hold of them from there
