I've downloaded ZC 2.10.2c Linux (full) and unpacked it in my home directory. I have no sound. The sfx.dat file is 349KB compared to the 2.3MB file which is downloadable from the downloads page.

I've tried downloading that file into my game folder, then ZC fails to start. The only error I can find is this from the Allegro.log:

My sound system works with everything else. I have no idea which sound driver is needed.

Is it supposed to be in the sfx.dat file?

That sfx.dat file is only for the Windows version, I think.
