This looks fake to me. Why would the fart be darker on the infrared? It should be lighter because it would be warmer than the surrounding air. It looks like someone just set off some sort of spray behind the guy.

This reminds me of this sketch I saw on SNL spoofing a show where a team goes into a house that is supposedly haunted. The guy farted, and they thought it was a ghost. One of the things they went to in their 'investigation' of it was an infrared video, and they 'detected paranormal activity near his behind'. They showed the infrared video of it, and it looked a lot more convincing than this did.

He would have had to have ate something really cold, then somehow kept it that cold through his entire digestive system. And it probably would have been cold enough to either kill him or severely damage him. So yeah, fake.
