You load quests in ZC (the player) like this:

How to load custom quests in Zelda Classic
1) Double click on zelda-w.exe
2) Press "Enter" to pass the flames.
3) Press "Enter" to pass the Zelda intro screen.
4) register a name, and press enter.
5) press "A" (Alt)
6) Press "A" (Alt) again
7) browse to the quest you want to play, choose it and press "ok"
8) press "Enter" to play.

You can't open quests in ZQuest without knowing the password.

How didn't it work? Which version are you using?

I'm using 2.10, and it just doesn't do anything when I do it. :( :shakeno:

Make sure you are using the version of ZC you should be using with that .qst file. Like whatever version that .qst file was made in.

I'm pretty sure it's the correct version.

You may need to unzip the quest download first using a compression utility (such as WinZip or the utility built into Windows). I presume you have already done so.

When you say that it doesn't do anything, can you be a little more specific? Are you getting an error message or something? Also, is the quest file in the same directory on your hard drive as the ZC.exe file?

If your trying to load a quest already tried you might have to set the quest directory in Etc>Quest Dir.

But your not very specific with your problem..

Don't you think you're overusing smilies? One is enough.

Hmmm... Hmmm... The final question of life, can there be to many smilies? Eh, I've seen more in a single post. :googly:

Remember those spammers from around 3 weeks ago? One of them had like 200+ Smileys in a single post.

Hm, that's good news to hear. But what was your problem (for future help) exactly?

It wasn't exactly a problem... I just thought I pressed A (alt) after the normal quest starts.

I guess it was pretty stupid of me... :whap:
