Palatte rip

How do I rip a palatte? Hopefully this will be my last question for a while.

Oh, and one more thing. When I'm setting an enemy or item sprite, how do I choose the palatte it uses?

when editing the sprite try hitting the + and - keys on the numpad... but then again i have no clue xD

That helps, but there's still a problem. I am trying to use custom Link tiles that are not in the tileset's palattes. Which palatte to I rip the new one into so that I can use the Link tiles?
