Help with ZC

Hello, I've just recently downloaded Zelda Classic 2.10 from the sticky on this board but when I try to open it it fails to so because 'alleg41.dll was not found'. I had a look at the FAQ on the main ZC site and it says that I should download it from there but when I tried it it wouldn't allow me. I can't download zc210.exe from www.gerudo.net as Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site.

Thanks for that! Even though I now have that, whenever I attempt to open zelda-w it 'encounters a problem and needs to close.' When I try to open zquest-w it just doesn't come up. I don't know the source of the problem. Is there anything else I need?

Are you an administrator on your computer? Make sure you are signed in as the administrator when you are setting it up. That has caused problems with other people. What operating system are you using?

I'm pretty sure I'm signed in as the administrator. Stupid question, operating system? What, you mean like Windows?

Windows 95, 98, XP, what? For that matter, if it's a Mac, make sure it's at least MacOSX.

Does your allegro.log file say anything?

The Text Document? Yeah. It says everything is OK though but it ends at 'Setting video mode...'

"Setting video mode..."? That may be the clue we need...

Do you know how to set command line parameters? If so, try '-windowed'.
