How many tiles of animation does the boomerang use? How is this usually done? I've tried putting my boomerang tiles in the same way as they are in Z1, but it doesn't seem to work. Is it affected by the 'new boomerang/hookshot' quest rules?

I'm pretty sure that the boomerang uses 4 tiles of animation, but I don't know about the quest rules.

The Boomerang uses 4 frames if under Quest=>items=>sprites=>boomerang its animation frames is set to 0.

As for the quest rule, you know how in the original LoZ, when the boomerang touched say, a ruppe, you got it instantly? Well, with the rule checked, the item travels back with the boomerang (and hookshot)

animation frames. duh. thats why it wasn't working, thanks. I thought the quest rule was that but I wasnt sure. Ironic that the boomerang that I drew for you I didn't know how to actually use it myself ¬_¬
