I need a sprite set or whatever that has link and zelda as octoroks. Did I spell that right?

Do you mean want to use link and zelda as the octorok enemies in your quest?
What tileset are you using, and are you using the 'new enemy tiles' rule. Tell me those and I'll be able to help.

I want Link and Zelda to be octoroks in my quest
I am using the original tileset
And I have NO IDEA what the new enemies rule does

Right. First of all, go to Quest-> Rules and tick the new enemy tiles rule. This uses the tiles from pages 6-32 for the enemy sprites, rather than just those on the first page, which makes them look much better.

Go to Quest-> Graphics -> tiles. Copy the link tiles (which are tiles 20-24) and scroll down to tile page 13, which is where the octorocks are.
Each octorok enemy takes up three lines of tiles, so the first takes up tiles 3420-3460.
Tiles 3420-3460 are the slow red octorok, 3480-3520 are the fast red, 3540-3580 are the slow blue, 3600-3640 are the fast blue and 3660-3700 is the magic octorok.
The first line of tiles is the octorok walking, which is 4 tiles of animation for each direction. The next two lines is an 8 tile animation for how it looks as it is firing.
So paste the link tiles over the octorok you want to use so that it all works correctly (ie, tiles 3420-3423 (octorok slow, red walking up) on tiles 3420&3421 copy link walking up, and then 3422&3423 put those same tiles, but flip them horizontaly) and then do this the same way for all of the tiles for your chosen octorok, then try him out in zelda classic, and you should get a linktorok.
As for zelda, this isn't quite so simple, due to the fact that there are no zelda tiles apart from one in the tileset. If you really want to do this, try here (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles&id=805). To rip the tiles into zquest, while on the tilesheet, go to a blank tile and press 'g'. then select the file, and press enter. Do this with the zelda tiles you want to use (the same location as the ones you used for link), then put them onto where you want on an octorok, as outlined earlier.

All of this begs the question though, aren't link and zelda a little powerful to be octoroks?

That's exactly why I am making the quest "OCTOROKS REVENGE"... But wouldn't that mean I would need a Gannon as Link set to???

ohhhh, hahaha. You want link to play as an octorok, not to be an octorok enemy. well you could probably use that explanation I just gave to make link and zelda into other enemies.

I don't know if there are any 'link as octorok' (now I get you :p) tiles, I could do them I spose, but it would be a lot of effort. Did you want octorok-ish items for link's weapons and everything aswell? Cause if you don't then ill do it, otherwise its too much work.

Sorry about confusing you... And No, I don't need any octorokish weapons

He he, this is amusing. Its amazing what you can do in fifteen minutes. Ill upload a blank quest and a picture to rip from in a few minutes or so

Right then, here is the image that you rip from if you've already started to make your quest. To rip the tiles, read my explanation above. Place them in their postions on that picture relative to the tiles on the sheet. The first tile on that picture is number 0 on the tilesheet. After you've done that, go to Quest->Graphics->Palettes->Main, and select either Cset 7(if you want a blue octorok) or palette 8 (if you want a red octorok). Press 'c' and then copy it over Cset 6 with 'v'. After that, go to Quest-> Graphics -> Sprites -> Weapons/Misc. Then go to 'Misc: Link Slash'. Press edit, then click on the picture of the tile. Set it to tile 15, and voila, you should have link as an octorok.

And here (http://dodownload.filefront.com/6857518//2f280f80f5897f8dbe4c09bfe2e94fa6271264987f67e4ebd7 3bad442cc5637287704d5c123c1e40) is a blank quest file, but with link as an octorok which would be more simple for you to do, but if you've started to make your quest then you'll have to do it the other way.

I'm afraid if you want to link as Ganon, you'll have to as someone else or do it yourself, I don't have the time or patience to make a Z1 style 32x32 link in 8 different poses or whatever it is.
