Did anyone else pick up this game? I want to see what other people's impressions are of it.
edit:
Hmmm? Nobody else get this? Well ok then, I'll just go ahead and post my impressions. Overall, I think the game works. When I heard that there were only 7 levels I was disappointed, but in fact each 'level' is more like a world where there are a number of missions to complete, so there's still enough to do. It can get frusterating at times, because it sometimes feels like Sonic just won't do what you want. In particualr, I find that getting Sonic to jump the way I want is often rather tough. Thrusting the controller forward to do the homing attack works, but I still really wish they would get rid of the stupid attack completely. Those things aside though, the controlls usually work well and feel pretty good (except for when they put you in a flying pot - if you play the game, you'll see what I mean). It also looks pretty good for a Wii game. So in the end, I think the positives outweigh the negatives and make it worth playing. But if they release a sequel, they'd better fix the control issues or I won't be as forgiving.
