I had gotten my SNES controller working with a 2.5 beta and now I'm using 2.10 for a certain quest I'm trying to beat. Now no matter what I do I can't seem to get the SNES or another joystick controller working with 2.10. Anybody no how to do this?

The joystick feature is definitely broken in 2.10. I have a controller that I use, but a few buttons don't work. The buttons are numbered 1 through 10, and only 9 and 10 don't work. I think 2.10 accepts only 1 through 8. So to answer your question, it appears that 2.5's joystick limitations are fewer than those of 2.10. So I assume that you can't use your SNES controller.

Did you use the latest 2.10, or the original?

I'm really not sure what version I'm using. I got the links from the last page of the 2.10 thread. And that really stinks if I can't use my controller >_<. I had it all set up on my tv with a SNES controller working till now.

You might want to try 2.10.2 (http://www.armageddongames.net/forums/showthread.php?t=94306&page=4). Scroll down about three-fourths of the way and find Dark Nation's post to download it.

Ok and if that doesn't work is there a way to get Joy2key working with this? I can't figure it out.

EDIT: Ok I downloaded that and the program won't open at all.

EDIT 2: Ok I doubt anyone will see this but does anyone know how to get Joy2key working with ZC. I can get everything working except for the directional pad. I've tried everything and my brain really hurts right now. So has anyone here succesfully used Joy2key with 2.10?

I'm using a Logitech Precision Joystick with 4 buttons that I bought at Best Buy for $20.00 quite a while ago and it works with every Zelda Classic Program including all the new betas.

Do you mean that it works with the joystick option in the program or a separate program in use with Zelda Classic? And does it have a D-Pad or Analog Stick.?
