Custom Avatars

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 200 by 200 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller).

This is what is says in the avatar settings.
Whichever is smaller. Does it mean that if I have a smaller picture
than 200x200 but bigger than 24.4KB, I can use it?
Well, I can't... could anyone lighten me up on this?

Both of those are the limits. If you have a 50x50 avatar that's higher than 24.4 KB, you can't upload it. If you have a 201x201 avatar that's less than 24.4 KB, you can't upload it.

If it's under 201x201 (UNDER.) AND under 24.4 KB, you can upload it.

Also, if 24.4 KB seems like a strange limit, I believe I bumped it up to that so I could upload a particular avatar I wanted for a test account a long time ago. Just in case you wanted some silly trivia ;)

The limit actually seems to be 19.5 KB at this current moment... I personally think a limit of 25 KB would be much better... But hey, whatever...

EDIT: Upon further investigation, it seems like your profile picture can be 150 by 150 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller). Huh.
