So, I use a radio shack adaptor to use my PS2 gamepad on my PC. In the past, it's always worked just fine. Until now.
I've been getting strange errors... if I try to run the Gens emulator, I get an error message that says "IDirectInputDevice SetProperty (X-Axis) FAILED". It's never done that before. Other software has stopped recognizig my controller as well. What puzzles me is that many other programs can find it just fine. It's driving me crazy, because the programs that no longer accept my gamepad WERE working properly with it just days ago. I haven't installed anything new on my machine recently, so... what the fuck is going on?
Any assistance that somebody with more knowledge than I would be appreciated.
EDIT: Neeeever mind, I fixed it... it was my damn keyboard's fault, strangely enough. I use a saitek eclipse, which apparently has a bizzare habit of creating multiple copies of itself in the device manager, fucking with my gamepad. Strange.
