I'm sure that my problem is some setting on my computer but I haven't been able to track it down.
When I open zquest in fullscreen mode the screen displays very small in the center of the screen and the colors are severely limited (like 8 colors that are all wrong or something). I can find the fullscreen command in the etc menu and when I go to windowed mode the colors return to normal. I haven't changed any display settings since the last time the program opened properly. I tried reinstalling the program and restarting my computer but the program still is not displaying properly.
A temporary fix is to run in windowed mode at a low screen resolution to make the screen the right color and large enough to see
(EDIT): This actually does not work. I'm using V2.10.1 btw.
(EDIT): Tried using 2.15b with no change in results.
but it is a little strange to me that it used to display properly and (in my recollection) I changed none of my display settings between now and when the program last worked (about a week ago).
If anyone has seen this and can think of a quick solution I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
