I agree! RPG Toolkit is more coding than what I like. I code, but I like having a little more "engine" to begin with. Not to mention that the code is really abstract. I tried toolkit for like a couple hours, and I just said "screw this! it's like 85% coding!" I like 5% or less coding. And that doesn't count the many script-less tricks you can do in ZC.

Actually, the upcoming version of RPG Toolkit is far more advance than RMXP. And tk's free, not $60. :tongue:

i looked at that thing and i just puked it pretty much uses bitmaps for every thing toolkit can accually have animations and i have that coding isnt hard im 13 and im coding a sidescroller whth that rpg toolkit and not just any a super smash bros mele game and im only pming all the people at tkz so i can upload the exe there so you cant get it :tongue:

RMXP and Toolkit are kinda on the same level right now, with RMXP being more easier to use and more stable, and RPG Toolkit being a little better at all else. 3.07 is gonna rock RMXP's ass though.
Anyone care to show me a game like this (http://toolkitzone.com/games.php?game=69) or this (http://toolkitzone.com/games.php?game=121) or this (http://toolkitzone.com/games.php?game=1764) made with RMXP? I think not.
Comparing any of these with ZC, however, is stupid. They're not for the same thing. Even so, TK is the most diverse of these three programs, since it uses VB and C++ plugins and its own rpg code, which technically allows anything to be made with it...
