If you like as much as me, here's a link (http://forum.dsrevolution.com/index.php?topic=6314.msg116981;topicseen) to download everything BUT the Rom. I can also provide you folks with a torrent containing the same files, but I hesitate to post it 'cause I'm not sure about the rules. I put it to the mods - yay or nay?

Links to ROMs are not allowed.

I think what those screenshots show is simply how good Wind Waker's graphics truely were. Just giving everything a cartooney coat of paint doesn't really produce the same look.

Neat but not truely cel-shaded.. just with similar "simple textures" to Wind Waker.

Interesting. I don't think the lake or the market look too bad, but kokiri forest looks awkward. Fun idea though. I'd love to see an ALTTP remake with the cel-shaded graphics.

This is really the wrong approach to retexturing the game, especially since it appears this was done as an excuse to hide horrible texturing skills.
Look around a little more and you'll find hi-res texture projects that stay true to the original style and look far superior.

The torrent doesn't contain the ROM, which is why I asked whether I could post it.

While I admit that this is nowhere near the quality of The Wind Waker, it's still interesting, no?

This reminds me of the textureless maps for Quake that were supposed to improve your fps. ;)

The links on that page don't work, though with a little work, I managed to find a supposedly full pack of Hi-Res Textures for OoT, however the website that all the websites link to is down for me. But About.com happens to have links to downloads for it, I am downloading them now and will be testing the to see if they work, if they do it will be a happy day indeed.

Have a good one,

Why is it that most of the icons are revamped in Hyrule Market, yet nowhere else? The life hearts, rupees, A/B/C button icons, only changed in the first picture. That and the swirls around Lake Hylia.

'cause they're from different versions of the mod. I just Googled for as many images as I could find and shoved them here.

Updated link to the mod (http://www.zeldalegacy.net/emulation-mods.php), though again you'll have to find the ROM yourself.

Meh. I could easily photoshop some better textures imo. Neat concept though.

Man I love Ocarina of Time, cel shading doesn't seem to impress me, just because I love the game too much to have anything changed.

Interesting, but I'd rather play the original OoT instead. :kitty:

If they remade Ocarina of Time with the updated graphics, maybe a few extra stuff tossed in, too, that would be most excellent. Quality remakes are always a plus.

That looks very cool. I think Nintendo would be stupid NOT to remake OoT like that.

How does gravedigging like this even happen?

It happens due to noobs that browse back 9 million pages and decide to reply with their useless 1 liner comment.
