Hi people!
Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth. Regards

From what I've read, his birthday is actually somewhere in mid-summer I think, but they wanted to do the celebration in December. Meh. I'm just remembering what my dad said he studied in some college course about religion and some stuff.

Haha, this is the new educational spambot.
Cool.
By the way, it's Merry Christmas, not marry

Also, I heard that his birthday was reputed to be April 16. The only reason I remember that is it's my little brother's birthday.

Christmas is in December because the Catholic church felt they wouldn't succeed at outright forcing people to stop celebrating Winter solstice, so they replaced it.

Or so I understood it.
