Hey all,
I've a question about planting bombs in ZC 2.10test.qst.
I'm new and I play the ZC 2.10test.qst, but I cant plant bombs in the game, even though I've picked them up several times. I need them for lvl 2, for the beast with the armore (a boss I think). When I pick up a bomb, the icon with the bomb in the game stills says I've zero (0x) bombs...
I don't know if this is a bug or something or because I play the 2.10'TEST'.qst?
I also cant throw my sword in the 2.10test.qst, even if my HP is full.
So my question is: should I be able to plant bombs and throw my sword?
If not, how should I fix this?
Thnx for awnsering my question :) .

I believe that in that quest, you only get sword beams with the third and fourth swords. As for bombs, I want to say that 210test uses bomb bags, so the default max bomb is set to 0. Not totally sure on that one, though.

Thnx.
And does some one know where I can find these bomb bags?

You need to edit the 'Init. Data' for bombs in ZQuest - change the 'Max' number under 'Normal' to 4.

Actually, change it to 8 for the bombs and also give yourself some magic while you are there or the candle won't work.

You don't have to change it to four or eight, but that number is the maximum number of bombs that you can carry at the beginning of the quest. If you then pick up a bomb droppable from an enemy, (Assuming you had none whatsoever beforehand..) your bombs would be less than five but greater than 0, if you set it to something higher than 0, as those pickups are worth 4.

Also, for every four bombs you can carry, you can carry one superbomb. So if you can carry 4 or 7 bombs, you can carry 1 super bomb. If you can carry 8, 9, 10, or 11, you can carry two. 12 Can carry 3, etc.

Thnx for all your info. Only this is not something a beginner could know, I think. It's not really in any FAQ and I couldn't find the awnser on the forum. So why didn't the maker of the quest set the bombs to 4 or something at the beginning of the quest? But well, that's up to you guys, the programmers... ;)

Just a careless mistake. It was supposed to be 4. I believe you were supposed to start with magic, too.
