The hover boots are a good item, but I find that auto-hovering whenever you walk off a ledge in sidescrolling mode is a little annoying. I think it should be possible to disable this.
It would also allow people who prefer a "Roc's Cape" style long jump to make the Hover Boots behave closer to that style (without using Saffith's script, I mean).
