I’m new to the PHP language.
And as a project, I decided to write a random sentence generator.
It came out with pretty good success.

Using the same concept, I’ve made random quote generators for a few forums I go to. Members post what they want me to add into the generator, and I take the quote and stick it in for them. Simple fun for me and the members, while at the same time it’s helping me learn PHP a little better.

My question is,
Would the members here at Armageddon Games like me to make such a generator for this forum?
I would be more than happy to host the generator, and improve my coding at the same time :)

We had a quote generator thing on the forums at one point in the past. I don't really see much point in having one.

Well, if more users agree with Rainmain, that's cool too :cool:
It was just a suggestion, but I can also understand Rainmain's point of view.

I remember thinking that the quote generator was funny, but it did seem like 70-80% of the quotes were from Eckels.

Well if this actually sounds like something you guys would like me to take a stab at, then post some quotes and any and all (as long as they are real) will be accepted :P

You would have to convince a PHP-capable admin to integrate it into the forum software, and I don't think that would be very easy.

That's how it's setup on the other forums I go to.
