I can't run any Zquest !!

First sorry for my bad english, I'm a french guy... :tongue:

I begun to interest in Zelda classic a long time ago. And now I decided to reinterest in, but I've got a big problem. I can't run any version of zquest.

I tried v 1.92b183, v 2.10 DOS and windows, v 2.11B6... NOTHING: I've got no error message, I can see the "zquest" in the taskbar during a few seconds but it disapear after...

zelda.exe runs well in v 2.10B6 after all.

I don't understand...

I use an Acer laptop with win XP familial edition.

Try making a shortcut to ZQuest-w.exe, and right-click on that shortcut, and add the following to the end of the command line: -windowed -scale 2

Might work. :shrug: Worked for me.

Make sure you have the DLL files and Allegro. Also at least for Zelda-w to run, you need the 1st.QST in the same folder as all other Zelda Classic files.

Also you can try the latest ZC beta, 2.11 b14.
