Hey there,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever used Zelda Classic to make a top-view/ 3/4-view version of Ocarina of Time? I would love to play Ocarina in the style of A Link to the Past.

I think there's only one OoT remake, for Zelda Classic...

But if you want to play aLttP style, wait for Ocarina of Time 2d to finish (not a ZC project though, it's a fangame).

Is there a status report anywhere of Ocarina of Time 2d? The Ocarina of Time currently here on the site apparently has some glitches. The gamepad I have only works half the time on it; other times, Link just stops walking and the directional pad apparently ceases functioning.

You probably won't run into these bugs if you play the game in the version it was created in. Go back to the download page for the quest, look at the version number on there, and then play it in that version of ZC to avoid these bugs.

Speaking of which, would anyone be interested in helping me make an OoT in ZC? Possibly Majora's Mask?

I don't see the point. Just play the original. I'd rather play something new in ZC rather than a 2d version of something 3d that probably won't be as good anyway.

DFW is right. Many have tried to do remakes but ZC is just too restrictive when it comes to trying to remake the 3D games. Most of the projects don't get that far off the ground. It happens all the time. If you can create something more original it will grab everyone's attention more than a remake of a game we have all already played numerous times.
