I haven't posted any info on my quests here in a long time, so it's time to bring you all up-to-date (unless you go to PureZC- then you're probably up-to-date anyways. :P ). Prepare for an onslaught of quests! Muahaha!! *ahem*

Nayru's Quest: The quest stars Nayru, the Oracle of Ages. After the events of Oracle of Ages, Nayru has moved to Star Island for some peace and quiet. Little does she know, Twinrova has been following her... Big quest, around 17 dungeons (not counting Item Dungeons?! OMG!!!! :surprise: ), and half of them are from OoA (Yes, you'll trek through Labrynna again! :D )! It all begins after Level 1.... Demo can be found at http://www.geocities.com/pikachu_fan_13/NayrusQuest.zip. Demo ends in Level 2, Sandstorm Pyramid. But before you can reach the Sandstorm Desert, you must clear OoA Level-1! :P
Screens: Forgot their location. :(
Oh yes, use one of the 2.11 betas to play the demo. I think it was b10b....

Link the Magician: Yes, it's back! And quess what? It's the same story as last time! Link wants to be the best Magician in Hyrule, so he ventures to the Temple of Magic. But his quest becomes much larger after he gains the power of all the Temples! O_O Let's see... Magic types:
Ice, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Shadow
...plus maybe some hidden ones? Wait for the final version and find out! :D
You must wait until PureZC's Fall Expo (Nov. 19!) for a demo.

Link has just recieved a Staff from this kind sir and instructed to go get the Book of Burning from BF1 of the Ice Sector of the Temple of Magic.

Block Puzzle with monsters! Defeat them all and push the blocks to earn your prize!

Realm of Mirrors: Same as before, but this time, I've redone the Overworld!
The Triforce has sent Link to a new world for an unknown reason. Link awakens in Arboria Forest and goes to Arboria Villiage. He eventually finds out that he must find the 8 Mirror Hourglasses to open the Realm of Mirrors, where he must find the source of the evil holding the place in a state of perpetual Winter and stop him/her!
The oldest demo can be found at http://www.geocities.com/pikachu_fan_13/RealmMirrors.zip. I believe that was a 2.10 demo, but to be safe, try AT LEAST 2.11b10b.
Screens: They're new, so don't expect to see the same things in my old demo!

Link's place of awakening in Arboria Forest!

A sign! East is the rest of Arboria Forest, West is Arboria Villiage, and South is Arboria Outskirts. Let's go west first. :)

Hello, happy villiage! *ahem* This is Arboria Villiage. In the Villiage Square (center of town- West-southwest from where you entered the town from) is a giant tree called the Arboria Tree. It has a door in it, and only those worthy may enter it. Are you worthy?
There's a new subscreen here! I made the tiles myself. Do ya like them? Everyone at PureZC does so far. :)

...And that's it. *snaps fingers* Oh darn! I forgot! I'm planning a remake of Adventure in Mysteria! XD It's TLoZ: Adventure in Mysteria DX. It's going to be bigger and better than the original AiM. :) After that's done, I MAY work on Mysteria 2... ;) Let's see... OH NO! I FORGOT ONE!!!

Metroid: The Chozo Prophecy: My favorite quest so far. :) It uses Exate's (PolygonX8 to those here. ;) ) Metroid XL-75 Tileset (It's at PureZC! GO GET IT!), so you KNOW the graphics will be good. ;) Let's see... NEW DOORS! Purple Door: Hack a Computer to open this door. ;)
...You start with NOTHING. You must find the Power Beam within the first area, Phazon Frigate, without getting killed by Space Pirates. You can't save on the Continue-Save-Retry screen anymore, either. You must find save rooms to save. :P No demo, because it's going to be in the PureZC Fall Expo. :D
Screens:
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/5696/zelda005ke9.gif
Samus faces off against the Miniboss of the Phazon Frigate! Be careful, Samus! If you fail, who will collect the many bounties of the universe? :D
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1610/zelda004ap7.gif
Samus saves in a Save Station in preperation for the big battle coming up soon! O_o

Enjoy! :D

He said November 19th, duh.

Chozo Prophecy looks QUITE impressive, even the saving feature being limited to specific areas, damned nice addition. Looks very tight.

Why thank you! If it wasn't for the features of 2.11, I'd never achieve a TRUE Metroid feel. Now all I need to do is find a way to script an item (preperation for the future ability to script items) that uses a Sword Sprite, but only makes the Sword Beam appear, and won't use the actual sword itself. That'd make a true Metroid beam! :D

You also need to script it so that the sword beam is a permanent feature. So when you loose some health, you're buster doesn't stop working. [I always called Samus' gun a buster, because it is]

Yeah go to Quest > Misc. Data > Item Props. and set the heart %'s as 0. Easy as that.

Link the Magician and that Metroid look very good.

I know about the Item Properties. For one, the tileset already had that anyways, but even if it didn't, I'd have done it. I'm not a newbie. I've been using ZC for almost a year (Thanksgiving Day will mark my 1-year anniversary for using ZC. O_o ). I know how to work things. Now, if only my brain could move scripting from the "IT'S TOO HARD!! STAY AWAY!" part of my brain to the "This isn't so hard, go for it." part of my brain. XD

Wow, I've been at it on and off for three years...yet I'm still teh s uck. :D Bwahah.

But for the buster, are you gonna make it so that the "sword" aspect of the sword doesn't hurt enemies? Only the sword beam?

Well, right now, my brain won't let me try to script, so I haven't tried (and I'd rather wait until the next beta, seeing as I have 2.11 beta 12d and I don't like b13, I won't get b14 (most of the bugs have been found already anyways), and b15 isn't out yet), but beta 12d seems to hate scripts. A script that works in b13 won't work in b12d, even though their instructions are valid in BOTH versions... Go figure... So right now, the Beams work like they did in Exate's Metroid: XL-75 Remake. :D But when/if I script a true Metroid-style Beam, I'm not just going to make the sword not hurt enemies, I'm going to REMOVE IT ENTIRELY and instead, when you press A, you fire a Sword Beam instead, which would appear where the Sword does, but instead of coming out like the sword, it'll IMMEDIATELY shoot across the screen. :) But if there's one thing I ABSOLUTELY LIKE, it's when people look forward to my quests. :) That makes me happy, and makes me feel better about myself. :D I'll see if I can update this after the expo. All I'm really doing right now is redoing the overworld of Realm of Mirrors. :)
