Do you have the midi set to the DMap you want it to play on? Or did you just upload it?

Go to Quest > Music > Midis and upload midis there. Quest > Dmaps > Music - Don't upload there.

Also theres a ZC version with that midibug I don't know about, but you should still download ZC 2.11 b14, the bug is fixed in that version.

Ok I have two suggestions. Maybe try reinstalling it or getting another version. Or you might want to check if you're sound is even on. I mean speakers, mute, or even if the zelda classic sound options are even on.

Everything is on, and I've reinstalled it (to my dismay, it deleted all my quests I was working on). The sound is on, I've checked that time and time again. Only the sound effects work, and not even the music for the main screen works. I've even tried all the beta versions and even THEY don't work. OR the older versions.

Oh then I think the sound settings in Zelda Classic are messed up and the music is turned off. Check that.

Yeah go to that QST >Music>Midis and open a midi file

Check the volume if it's turned too low...

My settings work fine with these, you can try:

Volume: 255
Start: 0
Loop checked
Loop start: -1
Loop end: -1

Yeah that but I was talking about the settings in Zelda Classic.
