1000 posts used to be a bit easier to obtain when the forum was more active. Now I suppose it's a little high.

Without spaming I can see it taking someone about a year to get a custom avatar... seems a bit excessive but ah well. Makes this place more unique.

Anyone remember SixTen? He got 1k posts in 3 months; took me less than a year to reach that milestone

Yeah back in the day it was pretty easy to get 1k if you were a forum regular but now it seems like 1,000 is a pretty high number of posts.

Still, your signature allows you a much better expressive medium than avatar/title so try not to focus on what you do not have, but what you do have.

I've been around here for ever, I just barely ever post, so it's going to take a while for me to get my custom avatar. I don't mind, though. All the shiny stuff that gets shown when you post is nice, but if I can speak my opinion and be heard, I'm satisfied.

Either that, or I'll break down and by a premium membership.
