For a game that is praised for it's plot and characterization, I think half life has some of the worst and most vacant plot and characterization of any videogame ever created. I liked half life because it was fun to play, but I don't think it has a plot or characters worth mentioning. (except for the HL1 scientists maybe)

... Holy Crap Bel. Quest For Glory Freaking Forever. A shame I loved QFG5 more than you did. =/ It had real charm, that one. Man, I'll miss that game. :shakeno:

My favorite characters are actually from SSBM, despite the fact that they themselves are from other games. I'd rather play as Link in SSB/M than in a Zelda game. :shrug: In Brawl, I'll get to play TWW's Link as well, so all my Zelda needs are taken care of right there in a shiny little package.

Same goes for Samus, except I'd take the SMet version of Samus, followed by the Prime.

JC Denton, Bob Page and Walter Simons, as well as Tracer Tong, I guess, are some pretty awesome characters from Deux Ex. ... Wow, my grammar is attrocious. x X.'

Duke Nukem was okay for a time. I haven't really paid much attention to him in, ... ... Oh I don't know. FOREVER? :glare: ... *mumbles under breath* HINT HINT. It's been forever. Gotdangit.

Their only "low" was that there was too little character variation. I agree with you man. Kinda fun, with wonderful suspense, but if you stop and take a look around you, it's just more of the same over and over again.
