Playing MIDIs

I'm having a lot of trouble getting them to play in the game. How can I get it to work?

Go to Quest > MIDIS, and click on an empty slot. Click Load.

To upload 'em in Dmaps, go to Dmaps and select the music tab, and select yur MIDI. ;)

I tried that. The music didn't play.

Huh, you know that's a common problem around here.

I have no clue, but I do know that there is a thread around here that explained the same situation. :shrug:

I just read through the thread, but I found nothing that helped. What's weird is that everything was working until today. I played the Lost Woods music all the time. Now, not even that works. What could have stopped it?

Ah, I had the same problem too.

Reinstall ZC, but make sure to take quests and other stuff you need and put them somewhere. In the new ZC folder, put back your stuff and try it. That's how I got music to work. ;)

That's a good idea! I'll try that. Where do you suggest storing the things I need to keep?

Also, where can I go to copy the game saves? I'm not talking about the quests themselves, but the files you make to play the quests. I don't know where to find those.

zc.sav if that's what you mean. I made a folder called "Store Zelda (Dumb name,
gonna rename it to Zelda Storage)" and put the files in there until I reinstall the program. ;)

It didn't work. The music still doesn't play. What could have caused it to suddenly stop working?

Weird... I have no idea... What was the last thing you did before the music stopped?

The last thing I did was get the MIDI files.

Ok, there doesn't seem to be an error there...

Is there any media and/or online media you're playing right now? I'm just thinking...
