Getting high with a highlighter

Today at my middle school, during studyhall, I happened to notice a highlighter in my pencil case. I wondered 'what do these smell like?' and decided to sniff it. Then I saw that it smelled horrible, but it made my head feel funny (not a bad kind of funny it was sorta good). So i smelled it again, and it didnt seem bad anymore, and it seemed to make me have this good funny feeling in my head like its getting me high, and every few periods i had to smell it, like im almost addicted to it. And it actually made me do alot better in gym that i usually do. So im asking the opinions of the people here: is this going to actually do some sort of damage to my brain(:shakeno: ), or is it fine(:) )?

It's like those dry erase markers. Every time I use one, I take a good long sniff right after i pull off the cap. But I doubt a high lighter will give you brain damage. However, don't sniff whiteout, as that will cause brain damage, it says it right on the bottle.

Zeldafan500, try sniffing glues, gasoline, and drinking lots of nyquil. None of it will kill you, and considering your IQ probably isn't that high to begin with, you really aren't doing very much damage to your brain. Here's an idea, get an aresol can (like a spraying oil, or spray paint) & a plastic bag.
Put the bag over your head, and start spraying the can inside the bag.
Start to breath heavily then.
(and) See what happens.
