I can't open it because it has a .qst extension. What program do I need to use to open the file?

Zelda Classic or ZQuest!
Just open ZQuest and open the file. :)

EDIT: Oh geez, this post looks like pure spam...

Most quests will require a password to open in ZQuest. This serves two purposes:

1. To prevent anyone other than the designer to alter the contents (in case other people use that particular computer).

2. To prevent others from getting the answers and solutions to the quest, which would take away the fun of playing the quests

Anyway, firefly is correct. There are a few quests that do not require passwords to open.
