OK, so.

I got my lip and septum pierced. Lip off to the side a bit (ooooooo emo kid) and my septum uh... in the septum.

I hate hate hate needles. That aside, the lip piercing was virtually painless, and it swelled very quickly, so he had to change my captive ring to a much larger horseshoe, which was also pretty painless.

The septum... Oh, the septum. Anyone here have a septum piercing?
So uh, he used his forceps for about an hour trying desperately to line up his shot through my nose... I'm glad he was so meticulous, but the forceps were very tough on my nose, which is unnaturally sensitive to begin with. After about a literal hour he told me he was just gonna fucking wing it, and if it wasn't straight, we'd pull it out, and he'd repierce it after it healed for completely free.
He winged it.
I have never been in more pain in my life. My girlfriend literally jumped when she heard me scream. It was intense, and I shouted, loudly. (I really hope some lil kiddie was in the lobby waiting to get his first piercing, that would've been great to hear)
I started whiting out as he put it in, but I stayed concious.
The septum is terrible every time I touch it, and the lip isn't as bad... just a whole dickload of swelling.

Over all, it was a fun time, but dear sweet jesus do not get your septum pierced if big scary needles and immense pain scare you.

I mean holy shit, I don't think it can get too much more painful without shock taking over and making it not really hurt much.

I mean jesus. THE NEEDLE IS SO SMALL. Both pierced at a 14 gauge.

Not gauging those, either. :)

I used to have my labret done, didn't hurt the first time. Had to get it redone because it was crooked... that hurt. Not like, insane and unbearable, but painful enough to make me want to vomit.

Just got an industrial a couple of weeks ago. It hurt, but again it wasn't INSANE pain. I just wouldn't do it again. It's still pretty sore, some days are worse than others. You can see it in this picture (my ear):

That's a week after, still pretty swollen and red. It's not really swollen anymore, just still kind of sore to the touch.

Also when this crazy chick from the loony bin decided to stick a safety pin in my nose for like 3 minz, I cried like crazy even though it was hilarious.

Heh... It's the right side of my lip, just a bit off centre. I'll have a 1/2 inch ring in it, of a couple of types that I've... already purchased. :) I just wish I could change it...

As for the nose, yes bitches, septum spike. I don't care what you or every person I know says, it's got to be the coolest piece of jewelry. Ever. EVER.

I dont' like know medically, but I know I spouted tears for like an hour after it was pierced. And every single time I bump it funny. Or touch it. Or sneeze. Or breathe too hard.

The septum spike may look terrible on me, if it does, I'll probobly just have a ring/horseshoe. I probobly wont have a spike in until it's healed enough to change daily - I'll probobly have to roll my piercing up into my nose for work.

At pizzahut, you can have your lip ring in, and eyebrow rings... earrings, ect...
But... no septum piercings allowed... :O
this ring won't fit in my nose, though, and they're being pretty nice about it. :)

well, they only did a 14 guage, which isn't that big...

This guy the piercer knew is going to get his carved out with this razor-needle thing (I forgot the name) at a 2 gauge. Thats like... () bigger than that. His septum. It's insane.

My nose still hurts when I touch it, or sneeze, or move it. Sometimes it'll catch something funny, and it'll hurt like hell for a while. Last night at the laundymat it freaked out and hurt like hell for like an hour.

The lip isn't bad at all, but it's migrating, and this disgusting buildup of attached dead skin is forming, and it's sick. Doesn't hurt much, though.

I don't want anything pierced... One time during one of my surgeries, my doctor offered to pierce my bellybutton for nothing while I was being operated on, but I said no thank you. ^_^

I can relate to your intense pain though, a few weeks ago I went to my doctor about my swollen ankle and he wanted to drain the liquid out of it with a needle. All he did was wipe it with achohol and jab the needle right through it without numbing it at all. I also screamed really loud and felt like fainting. I hope your nose heals and you feel better. :)
