I'm making this room and I'm having trouble with the block.

Now the problem I have is when you leave the room the block goes back to it's starting position. I'm trying to make it so you move it up come back later and move it right then finally after coming back moving it down to press the switch and having a chest appear. That's all easy for me except I don't know how to make the block stay where it is when you move it. Is there anyway to do this?

i dont think thats possible, from what i know, i think its an unchangeable feature for blocks to reset upon re-enty.

Ok then I'll go with my original plan to go to a different screen each entrance. The only problem with that is that if you move it and go back you will think you will need to move it again.

Zelda_Warrior's right: This isn't possible... in 2.10. I'll mess around and see if I can't get it to work in a beta, though. :p With Freeform Scripting, it's probably possible, but I'll try the simplest way possible.

Ok thanks. This is going in my first dungeon which is currently done but if you figure out how it might be possible that'll be the first thing I change.

Ummm..Actually it is possible, if a bit complex. First set secret flag 16 to the floor, and 17 to the block. Than make it so the switch activates secrets. Place 16 where the block starts, and 17 over the switch. Finally, under Screen Data, check "Treat as cave" to retain the secrets. (This might not work in 2.10. You may need a beta, although I'm not sure.)

The "Treat as Cave" option is not available in 2.10, so you do need to use a beta version of 2.11 to retain the secrets.

I explained what the problem was you aren't going to get that information by just looking at the picture >_>. Besides it was answered you didn't have to post.
