Explanation of triggers

could someone please explain about the permanent and temporary triggers and how to use them. a link to a tutorial would also be appreciated.

The general purpose of triggers is so you can have buttons in your quest and then when you step on them, something happens (e.g. a staircase appears or a door opens). This is similar to what we see in other Zelda games. Temporary triggers trigger secrets that only last until you leave the room, while permanent triggers' secrets will still be there when you leave the room.

To use these, just have a combo that has either "permanent trigger" or "temporary trigger" as a combo type. Then assign the secret flags for whatever you want to happen when Link steps on the trigger switch.

A sensitive trigger is nice. It is activated as soon as Link walks on it, even by just a pixel.
