Magic Sword!

How do I get the magic sword? I have completed level 4 and am in the cave with the old man and the magic sword but it isn't allowing me to get it he says "Master using it and you can have this." What do I do? What does it mean? lol I'm lost! Please help out.. Thanks

You have to have at least 12 Heart Containers.

Yeah.

But you should have 12 by now, anyway, if you indeed beat the first four dungeons (one heart from each boss) AND found all five of the heart containers hidden in the overworld.

Take the time to look for them...that magic sword will come in VERY handy for levels 5, 6, 8, and 9, as these are the dungeons with the blue darknuts and wizzrobes (yuck).

Oh okay then I need to go find the rest of those hearts. I only have nine hearts at the moment. Thanks for the help!
