What are the names of those snake thinges that charge at you if they see you and what are the names of those thingeys that electrocute you if you touch them and say stuff if you put magic powder on them?

I do believe if my Legend of Zelda knowledge serves me well, that the name of the snakes that charge at you when you catch their stare are called "Ropes". And the enemies that electrocute you when attacked with a sword, and change appearance when sprinkled on with magic powder are called "Buzz Blobs".
