I got a new computer today and I downloaded Zelda classic2.10 and when I run Zquest the screen goes too far too the left. It gets cut off at the left side. Is there any way I can center it?

My most obvious question is: Is windows desktop centered correctly on your monitor? Maybe you're not realizing that it's off-center.

Anyhow, you could try panning the monitor image to the right to "re-center" it when zquest runs. Try that and then return to windows and see how the desktop looks

Yeah, that could do it, but only if the mouse goes off-screen, too.

If that doesn't work, just run it in windowed mode. Create a short cut, right click, Properties, Shortcut tab. In Target, after everything, type in

-windowed {or -scale 1}

to make it smaller. Type in

-scale 2

to make it windowed, but a little bigger.

You can type in

-fullscreen

to put it back to fullscreen. Your problem might just be a fullscreen issue.

To note everybody, Different screen resolutions changes the monitor itself settings. so once you're in a different resolution, the monitor control is different.

Windowed mode works I just perfer to use fullscreen.

You can open it fullscreen and then adjust it over in your monitor.
I had to do this with the 192b184 and it was quick and painless, and didn't effect anything else anywhere.
been fine ever since.

How do I do that?

I am guessing he means to use the settings on the monitor menu itself to move the program around once it's fullscreen to get it to fit properly. Play with those buttons you don't use! Every monitor has different controls so it's not really easy to give exact directions here.

How do I do that?

Look in the book that came with your monitor, it will show you exactly how to do it. ;)
