Life Gauge and Magic Gauge pieces

In the subscreen editor, the life and magic gauge properties, the "cap, end cap, last and not last" with the "MOD" checkboxes is very confusing:confused: can someone explain how to get gauges working in the correct way, thanks!

The easiest way to get the life gauge working is to just to get subscreen.qst, and look at a correctly working life guage.

I personally like learning by example, but ShadowTiger made a useful topic in the Beta Discussion forum with a pretty detailed method for setting up Magic pieces which may or may not answer most of your questions (Life pieces are generally the same).
