Does anyone have any suggestions for a sky dungeon midi? (I can't find anything I like, nor am I any good at making one myself...)

Um... well, here's my opinion:

The songs from Legend of Mana CERTAINLY had greatly composed music. Many of them somehow make you think of a palace in the sky, or ruins in the sky, ect. So, your best bet is to start looking for LoM midis that suit your taste, then continue listening to midis from the Mana series untill you find the right one.

If all else failes: RPG midis. Always great. :D

Legend of Mana is pretty much the artistic pinnacle of video games, in terms of graphic and audio art. Always a good place to start looking for resources.

In addition to LoM midis (I don't know anything about LoM, actually...), I might suggest the song for the wind palace in Minish Cap.
