It's a simple question.
How do you save your game? I really want to so when I die I don't have to start the game over, and I can leave and come back and start from the place I left off at.

F6 will bring up the menu to let you save. You can also click the mouse to bring up the menu and go to File -> Quit and it will also bring up the same menu.

Just a warning... do not go to File -> Exit or it will close ZC immediately without saving!

But if you do go to File--> Exit, you be asked if you want to quit, so you can just cancel or click "No" if you don't want to close ZC.

F6 would be the best method. No wrong turns.

Yes F6 would be the best since exiting ZC does not give you a chance to save. Of course, you could just purposely die to get the Continue/Save/Retry options, but using F6 is faster.
