I think theres an obvious answer to this, and it's nagging in the back of my mind, but if there is one I can't remember it. Is there anyway to make secrets remain after you leave the screen.i.e you open a door by hitting a switch, and when you walk back you arn't standig in a shutter.? Thanks

EDIT: For the record, I'm making a freeform dungeon and require the door offcenter. I draw a shutter on the wall, than set Secrets 16 and 17 to an open door. It works, except when returning, whan it's back to shutter. I'm using 2.11b

Set the screen flag "Treat as Cave Room" or something like that. It'll make JUST that one screen act like a Cave DMap so secrets can be permanant.

Or, if you're not using 2.11, use a cave dmap instead of dungeon - or use a warp that switches to a cave dmap for just that one room (and another when you exit the room that switches back to dungeon). I'm aware that using a cave dmap type has some other consequences - but it's the only way to get permanent secrets.
