string in a screen?

i have made a titlescreen, but i want to have a ''story'' screen too...
i made it so that when you go from the ''title'' to the next d-map, i come to the string i made for that screen does not come up. how do i fix this?!:confused:

Make sure the DMap's Level number is greater than 0. A good bet is 200. Doesn't make a difference though, so long as it's above 0. (Level #'s 1-8 are used for triforces.)
