long and short hook

me and my friend think there should be a choice between long and short hookshot find the short and long in the items menu

That's coming eventually. You saw the "Hookshot: Short / Long" option in the Items dialog, right? (Like in the init menu or the item cheat area...)

It's coming. Just not yet.

long-way it is now, full screen

Personally, I'd prefer if each would be able to be defined. :) I mean, honestly, if, for example, the hookshot would only stretch across two combos, and the longshot would stretch across four, that's still quite a difference. o.o
