This may be a foolish question, but is there a way to make the secrets on a
screen permanent, so when you come back to the screen, all the elements
involved in the secret remain in their state? I have tried the "all secrets->permanent" option in the screen data in 2.10 and the beta version I am using now, and that doesn't work. The situation in question is, I have pushable block that removes a tree(used secret combo), allowing access to the wooden sword - is there a way to preserve the state of the screen without creating some duplicate/warp setup? Thanks in advance for any help.

push blocks are temporary.
dungeon dmap types are temporary.

so....
what you would need to do in 2.10 is have a cave dmap and make the block also set a permanent froor trigger where you would have to step on it.

In 2.11b10b the same applies but you have a "use as cave room" screen flag option.
