My birthday was a week ago and I fucking hated it. God damn I'm fucking old! Don't contradict me either! Let me be miserable in peace.

Fuck I still can't purchase my own alcohol!

I'm gonna let my birthday pass by and see if anyone notices. I don't know that anyone I live with knows when it is so I hope to attain some entertainment from it. Unfortunately when mine runs around I will be also 20, not that it makes much of a difference to me.

I'm twenty right now as well. It kind of sucks being out of my teens yet the government still insists I'm too irresponsible to drink alcohol or gamble.

You left out the far more important right Rainman, buying a handgun. Also I'm not certain if you can get the license required for fully automatic weapons till 21.

Look forward to the fact that you still have something to look forward to. You hit 22, nothing happens. No special privilages, no nothing. You just get older.

At least now when people ask your age you don't have to say the word "teen" with it. It does feel a little different even if it doesn't come with many perks.

Just before his 30th birthday, a coworker of mine's husband grew a beard, and shaved it off the morning of his birthday. Everyone spent his entire 30th birthday saying how young he looked. Brilliant.

Anyway, i'm 20, and i don't feel old at all. Fuck it, i welcome getting out of the teens.

Oh yeah, you're right. Much more important. I probably won't be doing anything about getting a handgun at the time though because I don't have the funds to get one.

For a couple hundred bucks you could get a nice revolver. The nice semi autos will run you more. I plan to have money set aside for one, and ammo.

You are underestimating my lack of funds. Actually the first gun I'll buy will probably be a hunting rifle since I want to start hunting soon. Handguns are nice, but I have no immediate need.
