how do i work transparent? in 2.11 b 10

can somone please help me? i am trying to make somthing transparent to make it look like lights are coming down but when i make it transparent its all red and green like can somone help me out?:shakeno:

Is it red and green in ZQuest, or did you test it by playing your quest and looking at the lights? For whatever reason, ZQuest doesn't show how the transparent thing is actually going to show up. Odds are it works in ZC.

well this is how i do it i made a layer on another screen and put on layer 1 made it transparent its working other then the part were its all crappy looking or am i using it with the wrong layer?:confused:

its doing it in ZQuest i never tested it in the real thing because i thought it would do the same

The layer wouldn't matter. Try it in ZC - it really should work correctly.

Press "Z" while on ZQuest.
That should fix the problem, in ZQuest.
