View Full Version : Rising/Falling Spike Traps

If memory serves me correctly, Freedom's quest, "Link to Tortuga", features traps that only hurt the player if Link is positioned on them when the spikes are raised. When the spikes are lowered, Link can cross over the traps unscathed. How does one create such a combo?

Combo cycling.

You need to create a damage combo that moves at the same rate as the combo the doesn't damage. Have the 2 cycle between each other and there you go.

Remember that you cannot see combo cycling in ZQuest. You have to play your quest in ZC itself to see if you did it right.

Make a combo for spikes raised with damage 1 or something.Then make
another with spikes down and no damage.
In the one with no damage,click the next and select the one with damage.
In the one with damage,click the next and select the one with no damage.
