SWEEEET!! I just got home from my last year of middle school, I am now officially a high schooler! As I walked to a mini-mart with my friends, I gave the school a double deuce. So, when did everyone else get out?

by the time you are done with high-school you'd wish you had 4 hands to gestue with.

I got out about 6 years ago, but for the last 2 years, high school wasn't that bad. I stopped misbehaving, I was able to go on 3 work placements(one in the first, 2 in the second). I still didn't have many friends, except for that crazy chick who lived in another city. At least it wasn't like middle school where just about everything bad happened to me there.

Graduated High School June 15th '04. Didn't care at all. I never even went to a middle school. I went to a "private" school that went right from fifth grade all the way to eighth grade. ... Damn, I had like, six homework assignments total in 8th grade. That, I'll miss. High School was just a different experience altogether.

1997? sheesh VEL. ;)

i graduated in 2001. highschool can suck my nuts, because both teachers and the younger kids went out of their way to piss me off on a daily basis. not to mention my guidance cuntsulor was instrumental in my diploma saying 2002. i deny that shit and say i was done in '01 since i was out of state for the 01-02 school year, yet got my dimploma anyways...

yes i'm bitter as hell. ;(

I think my last day of school was on the 3rd of April, 2001. I attended class, got homework, then went home. Never went back. It was my junior year.

9000th post.

Today was the last day of regents exams for me, so I only have to go back on the 28th to pick up my report card.

Next school year, I'll be a senior. Then off to college and paying bills:scared:. Just yesterday, I was a freshman, or at least it feels that way sometimes...

Now I am a freshman...Do they still pick on freshman? Or is that fake? I really dont think anyone would pick on me. I'm large for my age. 140lbs+, and 6'0.

You are screwed. You could be andre the giant and rhe upper classmen will still mess with you. When you become a freshman you are the lowest on the totem pole and the bottom of the food chain. I would take duck tape with you and tape your books to your hands so you don't have to chase them all over the floor.

If you believed any of that then you REALLY are fucked.

The only time you will be messed with is if you actually advertise yourself as a freshman and go out in the hall yelling "HEY EVERYONE! I'M A FRESHMAN!" If you don't do something stupid like that, you will have nothing to worry about.

Some schools do Freshman Friday. Some don't. Most of the schools (that I know of) that do FF usually focus on boys. But who knows...

;) Good luck.

You're not large, just tall. Actually, that's really skinny for someone who's 6'0. I weighed 40 pounds more than that when I was that height.

I'm almost 6'3 and only weight 150lbs. Give or take a pound or two. Keeping weight is nearly impossible for me at the moment due to my chest.

Something I've really been meaning to ask for a while, but was too lazy/nervous/shy to ask in a seperate thread:

After high school, what college is everyone / has everyone attend/ed? What is everyone's intended / current course of study?

Myself: CUNY Queens College, and Physical Therapy. I'll have to transfer to CUNY Hunter though.

Not going to college per say.

Emt-Basic card followed by Paramedic license at columbus state community college. 240 firefighter card, hazmat certification, and RIT operations certification. The emt card will come before anything else, after that it's whatever I can get first.

After that I will go back to columbus state and get my associates degree in Fire Science. Without it I can't become an officer if I ever decide I want it. I'm also going for the degree so I have something to show and I can work as an arson investigator among other things.

Possible bridge between paramedic and R.N. before my associates degree if time will allow.

I actually went to Niagara University for my undergraduate and graduate work. I spent 4 years as an undergrad and earned a B.A. in Math Education for grades 7-12 and then I worked there for 2 years as a grad assistant and I have my M.S. in Special Education 7-12 as well. Thankfully I was able to find a job right out of college as a high school math teacher, so I will never actually be done with school if you think about it that way.

In Quebec it's not exactly a college. We go to high school until grade 11, then we go to CEGEP. CEGEP is kind of like college, it's 2 years and then you can go to university (I think). Any way, if you're a resident of Quebec, tuition is free for CEGEP.

Any way, I'm going to Champlain Lennoxville.
