Password...

I just finished my quest and wanted to assign a password to it. I assigned the password and then reopened the quest to see if it worked and it opened up as if it were unpassworded.

Does this have something to do with the newfirst quest that was released for 2.10? Because that's what I used as a sort of base to build my quest on...I even tried importing my quest as an unencoded quest onto a new file but that didn't work either...

Stupid question: Did you assign the password in Quest->Header? After doing so, did you save it?

Yes, and after I saved it, I exited ZQuest and then opened ZQuest and tried to open the quest. Same result.

If you checked the "Save Key File" Box you won't have to enter a password it'll take it from that file.

it also enables cheats in the quest if there availible.
