View Full Version : Do any of you do exercises?

I recently decided it would be a good idea to get into regular exercise to help stay fit. I read that running is a good overall exercise, so a week ago I started a running regimen I found on the Internet, where I alternate running and walking for 20 minutes 3 times a week, and slowly build up each time to doing more running and less walking. My first week went well, and if I stick to the plan, I should be running 3 miles at a time 2 months from now. I hope to shed the few remaining pounds of fat I have left, and build up my cardio-vascular system. Do any of you exercise regularly?

This probably won't count for anything, but every Monday and Thursday night, I'm in a heavy-duty Martial Arts class. Lots of "Martial," but lots of "Art." Great stuff.

I love to run, and run places for people when they need stuff. (Blocks away.)

I powerwalk to and from classes in the college campus. I get places in roughly half the time it takes others to get there.

... ... I also jump stairs. Three up, two down. Two up normally, and I usually just.. fall down the stairs when I'm too lazy to jump. (J/K) I speed down one at a time. I never stop moving, basically, except when I'm sitting.

Doesn't count for much, but at least it's something. ... .. Especially considering how much I sit at a computer.

I do this one exercise once a day. It requires my right hand, a bottle of lotion, a towel and some porn. Not sure if that counts though.

I go to the gym three times a week to do some weight training and a bit of running. If i dont have much work, I play some sports on Sunday. Thats about it.

You do it only once? With porn? I can do it at least 3 times minimum, without porn. In fact, I wonder if the method I use counts as actual excercise?

Why don't you try real sex with a member of the opposite sex?
It's more fun, better workout, and better for self esteem!

Im on and off with workouts.

I will go into 3 or 4 month spans where I seem to care about my health and workout regularly.

And then there are days like today where I impressed my friends by putting 2 double quarter pounders together and eating the whole thing in 7 minutes. Not exactly a step forward.

There have been times in the past where I was motivated to work out, but I always stop soon after starting. I'd like to start exercising now though because I think it would make me feel better and have more energy.

Hey Glenn, do you have a link to that running regimen? I think that's where I'd like to start out. Small steps at a time. Cause anything is better than nothing at all.

Im still in highschool and I do sports if that counts as a workout, which it should

Starting next week I will have to do a mixture of Volleyball and Basketball practices that add up to about 4-5 hours a day. Its not hardcore conditioning but its still a physical activity. Thats only going to go on for 15 days(til my school is out) then I will have to mix and match my practices so it will be more spaced out and hopfully less.

Next week my sports scheduale will be:

1:30 to 3:00 School volleyball

3:00-4:30 School basketball

(hour break)

5:30-7:30 Club Volleyball

The times may vary depending on how early I get there and how hard the coach wants to work us.

Or same sex, I suppose, depending on one's preference. Gah, don't remind me... Been far too long.

ANYWAY, I've tried exercising on and off, never really make much progresss. I'm the easily distracted type, and as such, it's hard for me to stick to it. Besides which, I find exercise itself to be tedious and boring. Wasn't as bas before my iPod broke, but blech... On the plus side, I do walk everywhere, for whatever that counts.

I excercise by not eating enough and then working retail til 11 PM. It works pretty well.

Yea. I lift weights, pushups, situps. I do this every 2nd to 3rd day for about 40 - 60 mins.

Cock Pushups

You have to have one before you can do them. A strap on dildo doesn't count.

I used to run 1.5 miles every other day, 50 pushups, and some weights but the doctor doesn't want me to run until they figure out what they are going to do so it's just pushups and lifting.

If playing basketball 3-4 times a week is excercising. Then yes I do.

I could eat whatever the fuck I want (and I do) but I don't get fat. I don't work out either because again, it doesn't really do anything. Plus, in the course of a regular day I get enough exercise to get by. I'm not looking to be ubber strong, that's why you have guns and machinery.

Same for me, but I exersise by playing Whiffle-Ball, and Kick Ball. I am EXTREMELY NOT strong, but if I put my whole body into a punch, or something like that, I cause massive damage, cause I am 147lbs at 5'11. 6'1 with my shoes on heh. And I am 14. I eat basically what I want, and all the time, it really matters on your metabolism.

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in. I don't exercise, although I do a lot of walking if that counts, and I tend to eat some of the most rubbishy junk foods out there. I don't know why I don't resemble this guy:

Must be because I'm naturally skinny. I get that from my mother's side. Thanks Mom!

I do light weight sessions from time to time. I also bike. Sometimes after work, sometimes to and from work. About 5 1/2 miles each way.

The past two weeks I hadn't done anything, but I was on vacation. Usually, every day bright and early at 6:30. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I run a couple miles. Sometimes I do sprints instead of just a long run, because it helps you get your run times faster. On Tuesdays and Thursdays its arms, chest, and abs. Usually do push-ups, crunches, and sit-ups.

My last PT (physical training) test I took, which was on Monday after two weeks of no excersize, I did 50 push-ups in two minutes, which was 16 less than the last time, 80 sit-ups in two minutes, and I ran an incredibly slow 16:26 two mile. I usually run it in about 15 minutes.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays its arms, chest, and abs. Usually do push-ups, crunches, and sit-ups.It sounds like you are only working the muscles on the front of your body. Over time, that can really fuck with your posture. You may want to crank out some heavy deadlifts to try and counter that.

Eat less fuck more ...it'll counter anything ...Truly it's the best workout all around ...I'm no power house but it's a great way to keep lean ;) I dunno that eat on a bi-daily basis like some reptile is for everyone but works for me

...failing that swim more eat accordingly

I don't have a regular routine at the moment. I tend to do some form of exercise everyday though. Yesterday, I did sit-ups until I couldn't do it anymore. Today... we'll see. I don't have easy access to a gym so I'm kind of on my own.

Never thought about that. I just do what I'm told. You really don't get much of a say in the army over what you excersize, but I could go to the gym in the afternoon if I were motivated enough to.
