Help with Link tile modifiers

Full Link tile modifiers. I would llike to have Link change his appearance when he gets the white sword.

I can get this to happen and all works well, but when link goes to use the sword, he goes back to the original tile every time. Then switches back to the modification. Other than that, it fine. I have the full link tile modifiers rule enabled.

Is this a 2.10 bug or am I missing something?

I'd say 2.10 bug. I've tried this myself and it failed. Sorry.
